YouTube ignored world record of Badshah’s song Pagal; 75M views in a day

The latest song ‘Paagal’ of Badshah has created new popularity benchmarks on YouTube and recently the song has got negative publicity for the same reason. Though, the song has made a world record as it crossed 75 million mark just in one day.

It is needless to say that the benchmark has never been achieved by anyone before and that’s why people started suspecting something fishy. The situation became so bad that even Badshah had to reply to one of his follower’s comment on Instagram saying that he took the help of Google’s advertising tool to get his song this much views.

However, the problem is not looking to stop anytime soon and in fact it has just got dirtier. Recently YouTube discredited the Paagal record and simply avoided making the announcement regarding the same, even though it every time announces the big records.

Recently, the rapper opened about the same and called off YouTube for ‘double standards’. According to a news agency, the singing sensation said that the platform was happy to trumpet records from global superstars like Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande but paused when an Indian rapper unknown in the West employed the same strategy to reach the top.

On Instagram, Badshah also said that - “We worked hard for this, promoted it worldwide”. He further added saying that he doesn’t want people abroad to see India like it’s shown in a film like Slumdog Millionaire. We are at par with the world. And it’s our time to shine.
