Yeh Hai Mohabbatein To Go Off-Air, Divyanka Tripathi Signs A New Show

The popular Star Plus show Yeh Hai Mohobbatein is soon going off air after successfully running for almost 5 years. According to the reports, the show will stop running in October. The makers of the show made several attempts to make the TRP of the show high by bringing several twists. It also underwent a major leap. However, other shows of Ekta Kapoor - Naagin 3, Kumkum Bhagya and kundali Bhagya topped the TRP chart leaving behind Divyanka Tripathi's show.

The show is based on Manju Kapur's novel Custody. It revolved around the love story of Tamil Dentist Ishita Iyer (played by Divyanka Triptahi) and a Punjabi businessman Raman Bhalla (played by Karan Patel). It was Raman's daughter Ruhi from first marriage that brought them together. Raman and Ishita got married to retain the custody of Ruhi against ex-wife Shagun. The show showcased their love that grew after marriage.

During the show, Divyanka also found her life partner in co-star Vivek Dahiya and they both tied knot in 2016.

And now, the successful show is coming to an end. Ekta Kapoor confirmed that Divyanka will be playing a chef in her new web series.

Sharing the news, Ekta wrote, "Thank U Love! Ishika Going To Be Chef." And Divyanka replied, "Yes Chef."

Well, the fans will surely miss their beloved jodi of Raman and Ishita who entertained for 5 long years.

Divyanka has earlier worked in Intezaar, Mrs and Mr. Sharma Allahabadwalle etc. However, she rose to fame with Zee Tv show Banu Mai Teri Dulhan in which she played dual roles. She also participated in Nach Balie 8 in 2017 with hubby Vivek and they emerged out as winners.
