By now we all know that Yami Gautam married director Aditya Dhar. The couple opted for a quiet wedding away from the hustle and bustle of the city
What we are not aware of are the eco-friendly ways in which the couple held their nuptials. The couple conducted the ceremony on a farmhouse in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. They made sure there was no wastage in any way. The flowers and all other decorations were eco-friendly. They ditched a big glamourous event for a small intimate ceremony. The wedding photos were also clicked by Yami's brother Ojas Gautam and no team of professional photographers was hired.
The mandap for the wedding was only decorated with traditional marigold flowers, banana leaves, bricks, and Rangoli. With no wastage of food, no fancy functions, Yami and Aditya ensured that their intimate wedding would also be an eco-friendly one.
On the professional front, Yami has Dasvi alongside Abhishek Bachchan coming up. She will also be seen in Bhoot Police with Arjun Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez. Aditya on the other hand will work on his next movie as director called 'The Immortal Ashwatthama'. The film stars Vicky Kaushal whom Aditya directed in Uri: A Surgical Strike. Both of them even won national awards for the film.
