World Photography Day: Indian Instgrammers Who Bring Life To The Pictures

August 19 marks the World Photography Day. In recent years, with the rise of social media, the love for photography has increased manifold. It has become a full-fledged business which can be done by students, homemakers or any body who possess a good camera and has a new view to see the world through lens.

World Photography Day inspires the Photographers in the world to share a picture with a single aim- that is to share their world with the world. On August 19, 2010 World Photography Day hosted its first global online gallery. Anout 270 photographers shared their pictures and people from over 100 countries visited the website. This marked the first official World Photography Day with global reach.

The increased usage of Instagram has given a platform for photographers to showcase their talent with the world. And on the occassion, we have shortlisted some beautiful pictures of Instagrammers from India. Let's have a look:

Kartik is a dreamer and traveler. With a following of about 30,000 in just one year, Karthik provides some beautiful snaps from various cities. He perfectly captured the beauty of India Gate situated in Delhi.

Have you ever seen the rays of God? If not, see this picture from Amarnath Yatra. Someone truly said, heaven is there on earth itself.

Do you know what Royalty is? A Delhi based Instagrammer Ashish Mahaur who is a geologist by profession and photographer by passion shows the royalty with a rare picture he captured in Kanha National Park.

In another picture, he captured the Mars Trail. Sharing this picture, he told the hardwork behind it. He wrote, "This star trail series was shot for about 1 hour 40 minutes WITHOUT shutter remote. And when I say without remote, it's crazy to even think about it. Manually triggering the camera after every two minutes for about 100 minutes is not a joke. It's one hell of a dedication."

Another Instagrammer named Divyank shows the real India with real people. His pictures takes you to the streets of India. Have a look:
