‘Women is empowering’ as The Youngest ever MP in India is a 25 Year woman

Meet the Youngest MP of India, who is an engineering graduate and a BJP candidate from Odhisha.

Chandrani Murmu, The youngest ever MP has created history.She is a 25-year-old engineering graduate and candidate of Biju Janata Dal comes from Odisha.She represents tribal-dominated Keonjhar.

She was elected as MP from the Keonjhar seat of Odisha.

She defeated her Competitor Nayak, as she got a total sum of 5.26 lakh votes and Nayak got 4.60 lakh votes.

Tending to developing joblessness, Chandrani goes for quickening the way towards setting up enterprises in her locale so that individuals have employments.

Tragically unemployment is high in a mineral-rich region like Keonjhar. I would represent the youth and women of my state at the Center," she said

Chandrani is the  granddaughter of a former MP, says she needs to put her best foot forward in satisfying the needs and demands of her people.Conversing with media, she said she needs to concentrate on results rather making promises that can't be kept.

It’s an extraordinary event, the seventeenth Lok Sabha has the most noteworthy number of women MPs in the parliament with 78 women MPs out of 542 seats. Out of these 78 MPs, seven women MPs hail from Odisha.

Odisha is the first state ever to have 33 percent or the biggest share of women MPs out of its aggregate of 21 seats.
