We wanted Kangana to play Jayalalithaa and she will do justice: Shaailesh R Singh

At the moment, ace personality Kangana Ranaut is on cloud nine after the super success of her latest movie Judgementall Hai Kya.

Helmed by Prakash Kovelamudi, Kangana was seen romancing with multi-talented actor Rajkummar Rao. The psychological neo-noir black comedy is also the second collaboration of both the stars after their mega hit movie, Queen.

The flick made around Rs 4.50 crore on its very first day. In addition, the movie bagged gratitude from all sides for its fascinating story and superb acting by stars.

Recently, the media people met the film producer Shaailesh R Singh and talked on various topics including Jayalalithaa biopic.

He said that they are through with the screenplay (by KV Vijayendra Prasad and Rajat Arora). The movie has entered pre-production.

Kangana is in Manali to start her homework. She’s learning each and everything from the Tamil language to classical dance. She is a gifted star, and will do justice to the role as Jayalalithaa.

When asked on how much of Jayalalithaa’s life is being covered, he answered that it is a huge life that involves politics and films.

He said that they will cover up the main highlights for sure.

He said, “People of Tamil Nadu know everything about her, so it cannot be fictionalised. As for names and events, I can assure you that we are keeping it as real as possible.”

When asked a query on casting a Tamil star to play the role, he answered that they wanted Kangana to play the character as she is famous star.

He also said that he met a number of people from Chennai who wanted to see her as Jayalalithaa.

He added, “Jayalalithaa was the biggest female political icon of India, followed by Mayawati and Mamata Banerjee. I feel her story needs to be celebrated nationwide. I’m certain Kangana will do justice to the part.”

At present, the Tanu Weds Manu actress is enjoying her vacation in her home town, and the images of her garden became the hottest topic all over the web.

Yes, the plants, greenery and the lovely blossoms in the images have assuredly caught the attention of netizens.

The actress, who hails from Manali, has been enjoying at her house. In the image, one can witness her picturesque garden, some blooming flowers, a lot of plants, and a tree, with several fruits hanging on it.

A few days back, the actress expressed gratitude towards her buffs and friends from the media fraternity for appreciating her latest flick.

In the clip, Kangana stated, "I would like to thank everyone for showering JHK with positive responses. Bobby is a unique girl who is specially-abled with a broken destiny. For someone like her to get so much, love, affection and acceptance, gives me great hope about our upcoming generation to achieve equal human rights."

"I'm also thankful to all my friends in the media, who were upset with me but the way they've objectively presented the movie calling it the most acclaimed thriller of the year. All I want to say is that I am eternally grateful to you for treating art like art and rising above personal biases, and for that, I'll always be thankful as you've always inspired me," she further added.
