“We are looking at Rishabh Pant as the future”, says Virat Kohli

Indian Skipper Virat Kohli does not want to add pressure on Rishabh Pant since he is the future of Indian cricket.

Rishabh Pant is relied upon to be MS Dhoni's successor and created a splendid thump in the third T20I making an unbeaten 65 runs in only 42 balls.

"We are seeing him (Pant) as the future. He has got a lot of skills and a lot of talent. It is just about giving him some space and not putting a lot of pressure on him," said Virat Kohli as per a PTI report,

"He's progressed significantly since he's begun. It's all about winning and completing games like these. In international cricket, you have to handle pressure in a different manner. On the off chance that he plays like this consistently, we will see his potential shine for India," he included.

Rishabh Pant has a long way to go yet he is obviously being prepped to take Dhoni's big place in the team. The man has regularly been scrutinized for his shot-selection to discard great begins however he is learning from his past mistakes. It stays to be seen whether he makes the most of it.

Dhoni is 38, in the dusk of his vocation and won't be around for a really long time. This is Pant's opportunity to demonstrate that he is the man to have his spot.

He obviously has Kohli's supporting, presently he simply needs to reimburse the skipper's confidence.
