Bollywood Shehenshah Amitabh Bachchan recently took to Twitter to express his happiness upon being reunited with one of his colleagues. He was really joyous about the fact that the Director of Photography's assistant who worked with him on his 1989 film "Main Azaad Hoon", is now working with him in "Chehre".
While it might not seem like a big thing for some, Amitabh shares a sweet bond with various of his co-workers. Big B is renowned for his sweet gestures and he recently took to Twitter to express his pleasure. He shared a then-and-now photograph on Twitter to share his joy and pointed out the changes that have come with time.
"Time warp...then and now! Then DOP assistant...on the film 'Main Azaad Hoon' shoot of song 'Itne baazu...' in Goa. Now DOP assistant on the film 'Chehre'. Same guys... He and me. Some hair has been lost... Some grown," Amitabh, 76, quipped.
The post certainly shows how much grounded Amit Ji is. Despite being the megastar of Bollywood, he remains humble as ever, and yet sometimes he becomes ecstatic at small things which is such a sweet thing.
Bachchan senior's next flick will see him lineup alongside stars such as Emraan Hashmi, Kriti Kharbanda, Rhea Chakraborty, Siddhanth Kapoor and Annu Kapoor. 'Chehre' will release on February 21, 2020. Apart from Chehre. Big B will also be seen in Ayan Mukherji's action fantasy trilogy, 'Brahmastra' alongside Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. The movie will be produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.
Elsewhere, Amitabh was also slated to make his Tamil debut with the film 'Uyarntha Manithan' however, despite attending a couple of days' shoot, it seems now the film is going to be shelved due to some issues between Big B and producer Suresh Kannaan. As of yet, the film's future is still up in the air.
