The Men In Blue are beaming with pride after thrashing England by 2-1 in the recently concluded One-Day International (ODI) series. Every cricket buff rejoiced after the nail-biting final on Sunday which India clinched with a win against the visiting team. Now, the players are back home and they are more than happy.
Team India skipper Virat Kohli returned to Mumbai along with his wife Anushka Sharma and daughter Vamika. The mommy-daughter duo travelled alongside daddy Virat throughout the ODI series.
Now, the family of three is back at home and Virat Kohli took his Instagram handle to share how he is feeling. He shared a picture of himself from the balcony of their luxurious house in the City of Dreams.
The 32-year-old looked relaxed after a neck-to-neck series against the English team. The caption alongside the picture reads, “Nothing like home (sic).”
However, the break is for a short time, as Virat Kohli has to start preparing for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) which will start on April 19, 2021. In the money-spinning cricket league, VK will be leading Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).
He shared a video of himself running on the treadmill to get physically ready for the upcoming cricket league. Virat Kohli posted the video alongside the caption, “No rest days. From here on its all about speed (sic).” The RCB skipper paired it along with the hashtag IPL.
On January 11, 2021, Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma welcomed a baby girl, Vamika. The little angel happens to be their first child together. They are on cloud nine after embracing parenthood.
Virat Kohli even shared a picture of his beloved wife and daughter on the occasion of International Women’s Day. He paired it alongside a heartfelt caption which left the netizens gushing.
