VIrat Kohli shares squad image ahead of 1st T20I vs West Indies; Netizens notice Rohit Sharma absence

Ahead of the Indian cricket team's tour of West Indies, Indian captain Virat Kohli have shared squad photo from the locker room after some practice session. Players such as KL Rahul, Krunal Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Washington Sundar, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Shreyas Iyer and Khaleel Ahmed were there in the shared picture.


But much to the surprise of the fans, Rohit Sharma was missing from the fame and it really caught the attention of fans from across the world.  There are already some rumors about rift between Rohit and Kohli after Rohit un-followed the Indian captain and his wife Anushka Sharma from his Instagram handle.

Indian captain Virat Kohli had dismissed all such rumors before the team left for the West Indies. He said that it was a rift baffling rumour and it is absolutely weird to read such stuff that does not have any real value. He said the despite Indian lost the semifinals of the 2019 world cup cricket to New Zealand, the fans were of the opinion that the Indian team played very well.


He said that the team as a whole is fending off the lies and only looking at the real facts. He said that the people are turning a blind eye to all the good performances of the team and they are creating unwanted fantasies and scenario that they want to believe as the truth. Kohli also said that it is useless to bring personal things to the picture and said that he had not issues with Rohit Sharma. He said that if he didn't like someone, it would have been reflected on his face. He also pointed out that the atmosphere in the Indian dressing room is very good and that is the major reason for the team’s splendid performances.

Kohli will be leading India in all the three formats of the game during the upcoming West Indies tour that starts on 5th August.
