On Monday, the storm made landfall in Gujarat's Saurashtra area. The next day, Cyclone Tauktae reduced to a 'very severe' cyclone and today is expected to be severely wet across Saur Maharashtra, Kutch, Konkan, and portions of Rajasthan, according to the India Meteorological Department. The meteorological service predicted that it will diminish into a 'severe cyclonic storm' by 11 a.m.
