Janhvi Kapoor is one of the most beautiful young actresses in Bollywood. She is the daughter of Boney Kapoor and late actress, Sridevi. The diva is soon to make her Bollywood debut with Dhadak which also stars Shahid Kapoor's younger brother Ishan Khattar.
The stylish diva is surely a fashionista and makes sure that she looks perfect during public appearances. Recently, the diva featured in her first ever photo shoot for Vogue magazine. The pictures from the shoot were out in May-end, but here is the video version of it.
The actress looked like a princess in a pale blue and purple printed dress. After few minutes into the video, she introduces herself, saying: "Hi guys, this is Janhvi Kapoor and welcome to my first-ever Vogue shoot." Through the video, a few questions are raised, which appear on the screen and Janhvi responds graciously. To a question on which movie she would watch on repeat for the rest of her life, she replies, "Titanic."
When asked who was her favorite female lead, she names not one but several actors — Meryl Streep, Nutan, Madhubala, Waheeda Rehman and Meena Kumari. Surprisingly, her mother Sridevi doesn’t figure in the list.
She also told in an interview that she is proud of her parents and now makes them feel proud of her as well. The family came much closer after Sridevi's death. They were spotted enjoying at Sonam Kapoor's wedding. Janhvi also attended the National Film Awards ceremony to receive her mother's award for best actress.
In an interview to Vogue magazine, Janhvi revealed that her late mother Sridevi had seen 25 minutes of Dhadak and gave her valuable inputs as well. Janhvi was quoted as saying, "She was very technical about it. The first thing she told me was the things I needed to improve -- she felt the mascara was smudged and it really bothered her. The second half has to be different, she told me... ‘You can’t wear anything on your face.’ That’s all she told me, but she was happy."
Her film Dhadak is directed by Shashank Khaitan of 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya' fame.
