But sometimes they go too far without even thinking about the consequences.
Selfies have many a time has caused troubles and also taken many lives.
The same thing has happened with a forest ranger but luckily he escaped death while trying to gain a few seconds of fame.
We have often seen people taking selfies with animals including their pets or while they visit a bird or animal sanctuary. This seems fun but this forest range risked his life while he tried taking a selfie with a python. The horrific incident took place in a village in Jalpaiguri, West Bengal. The man along with his assistants clicked a 40 kg snake which was 18-foot long after being called by the villagers. The procedure after catching such snakes is to put them into a sack and take away and later, they are released into the forest. But friends, this is not at all easy as it seems to be after all snakes are way too dangerous to be caught and it can cause harm.
However, this officer named Sanjoy Dutta decided to do something adventurous with the snake. Instead of taking the snake away he decided to grab some fame by showing his bravery.
He curled the snake around his neck to allow the villagers to take photos and selfies. But what was going to happen next was simply unexpected and shocking. The situation got slippery when the snake started coiling around the throat of the ranger choking him. Sounds scary, isn’t it?
The man was left baffled and the people around him also panicked. Realizing the seriousness of the situation, the man quickly made his way to a safe place to avoid any mishap and injury.
One of his assistants helped him get away from the grip of the snake while the man calmly handled the situation.

So, folks, we would definitely not advise you to do such things and risk your life. Also, animals need to be handled with care and not to be used for fame and taking selfies.
