This video from the archive shows how Alia Bhatt respects the Thalaiva Rajnikant

Alia Bhatt is famous for her sweet nature and in an old video, we can see how star-struck she was when she met Rajnikant on stage. In the video, we can see that Alia Bhatt along with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Arjun Kapoor are on stage and as soon as the Thalaiva Rajnikant appears on the stage, Alia Bhatt is all star struck. Rajnikant Ji raises his hand to shake hands where Alia tries to touch his feet immediately. However, Rajni Sir stops Alia in the mid way and insists for a hand shake. Alia shakes her hands and then gets back to where she was standing.

This video is quite old and most probably from an award show. Alia Bhatt has genuine reasons to get star struck as Rajnikant is no less than any God in the South. Some of the actresses like Deepika Padukone and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had a massive opportunity to work with the Thalaiva on pan India movies like Robot. Robot was a massive hit and it had set records that nobody can break. In fact, Akshay Kumar had also worked with Rajnikant Sir in Robot 2.0 where he tried to raise awareness about how the birds are dying due to higher cell phone radiations.

Alia Bhatt is currently shooting for four massive movies, one is Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Gangubai another one is Takht with KJo, another one is Brahmastra with Ayan Mukherjee and boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor and also she is going to appear in Sadak 2, working with her dad Mahesh Bhatt for the first time. People get star struck meeting stars like Alia Bhatt but Alia Bhatt too gets star struck meeting The Boss.
