Raazi actor Vicky Kaushal has started shooting for his upcoming film Uri. The young actor is currently on a signing spree and is signing back to back projects. He recently signed Uri movie after Raazi. The actor is at present enjoying the success of Raazi, which was released last month. The movie has grossed great collections and joined the 100 crore club in a week time.
The actor who is active on social platform and has tons of followers took to Twitter and shared an update about his next project. The actor also shared an image of the film's clapboard in front of the Indian flag. The movie stars Yami Gautam in the female lead role. The actor did not share the location, but his co-star Yami Gautam had said that the first schedule will be shot in Serbia. The film is being directed by Aditya Dhar, which is based on the Uri attack of September 2016.
In 18 September, 2016, terrorists from Pakistan attacked a military base in Uri in Jammu and Kashmir leaving 19 Indian soldiers dead. Eleven days later, the Indian Army retaliated with a series of surgical strikes on terrorist camps across the border.
Indian Army extends training and support to Vicky Kaushal
Pakistani soldiers were killed in the surgical strike which was planned secretly by the Indian army with the grand support of PM Narendra Modi. The entire country showered praises on Modi and Indian Army for the decision to do surgical strike on Pakistan terrorists. However, Pakistan denied any such surgical strikes across the LoC.
The Masaan actor is going to play yet another role in uniform in Uri movie. He will be seen as a Para Commando in the Special Forces. He has fled to Serbia in the first week of June for his role in Uri. The movie will recreate the Indo-Pak border, the LOC and military posts along with terrorist camps in Serbia in a two-month long extensive schedule.
Also, it is said that the Indian Army has extended support and training to the production, with Vicky and the supporting cast getting trained at Mumbai’s Navy Nagar with Captains and Majors teaching them slithering, using arms and ammunition, and other drills used by the armed forces.
The movie stars actress Yami Gautam opposite Vicky Kaushal and is directed by debutante director Aditya Dhar.
