Veteran Actor Amitabh Bachchan Explains the Impact of Social Media on the Society

Amitabh Bachchan, the popular actor from Bollywood recently spoke about the modern generation and the thing that's showing a major impact on society. In the highly advanced technological era, social media has turned out to become the modern generation At**ic B**b. He then said that every individual can open up and express their notions and views on anything via social media. They even gain the ability to give away their viewpoint to any initiative whether it is political or another field.

On the micro-blogging website, Amitabh Bachchan has more than 36.9 million followers. On his official Instagram handle, Big B has more than 12.6 million followers. Big B has more than 30 million likes and followers on his official Facebook account. He took all his official blog in order to give his opinion about social media on Thursday night.

On his blog, Amitabh wrote, ‘the social media is the modern generation at**ic b*mb. It has the capacity to exercise a chilling response to the enemy; bringing them down to their knees, seeking pardon. Over 7 billion humans in the Universe now have opinion and voice and capability to give a perspective to any move, political or otherwise. And see it being spread through the medium, it employs across the continents of habituated being... It is a scary ultimatum.’

He then continued saying about social media as, 'Fall prey to it dear ones; be not the choice I see, Consider, regard assuage the contents before it is. We live in maximum consumption, never ever before Guard shield protect thy words, just as they would assure.'

Amitabh is not the only actor who had expressed his opinion about the gloomy side of social media. There are several actors like Malaika Arora, Anushka Sharma, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor who have shared their perspectives about social media earlier.

Speaking about social media Anushka Sharma said, 'Social media is not the right place to gauge criticism because a lot of faceless people have an opinion on your life. There is a lot of vested interest involved, as a public figure I’m prepared for it and don’t get affected.'
