USA devotees sing and dance to the tunes of Hare Rama Hare Krishna On Janmashtami

This year the holy festival of Krishna Janmashtami is being celebrated on 23 and 24 August. The preparations for Kanha's birth are almost complete. Though the birth day of Kanha is celebrated all over the country with great pomp, but there is a different and huge celebration can be seen in Mathura, Vrindavan, Gokul, Dwarka, Puri and ISKCON temples. People visit these temples not only from India but also from all over the world. Also, those who can't reach the temples to celebrate the Janmashtami, they celebrate the fest at their homes.

And a very surprising video is went viral on social media which sees people dancing to the tunes of Hare Rama Hare Krishna. They are also seen singing the song. Speciality of this video is these people are not Indian but from USA. They are celebrating Janmastami at a shopping centre in USA.

Janmashtami festival was celebrated across the country on 23 August i.e. Friday. But in the ISKCON temples this festival will be celebrated on 24 August. It should be noted that Janmashtami is the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna, which people of Sanatan religion celebrate with pomp and great reverence. Legendary belief is that Lord Krishna was born on this day.  There are huge crowds of devotees in the Sri Krishna temples in Mathura and Vrindavan. Especially since morning, there is a stream of devotees in the Banke Bihari temple, who have been flocking for darshan since late in the night. Meanwhile, in 2020, Janmashtami will be celebrated on 11 August.
