Urvashi Dholakia posts videos of roadwork; calling it ‘absolute torture’, as it is keeps her and her family awake at night

Urvashi Dholakia claimed that and her family and herself could not sleep due to road-repair work on Monday. The actress termed it as an 'absolute torture'. She also mentioned the difficulties her elderly mother was having as a result of the 'atrocity' Urvashi posted videos of people working on the road near her building at around 3 a.m. in Juhu Scheme.

She also stated that the workers had not worn their masks and that the  ‘cops could not help’. She claimed that the police left after a few discussions and that she wrote them a sarcastic "thank you."

She added that she understood that what they were doing was their jobs, but why not do it during the day. "Do they sleep in the day during the lockdown," she asked.

Another video showed a crane moving around on the road and laying mud, other one showed a worker collecting mud with a plough.

The actress wrote that the pandemic had caused people to lose sleep, and that they were now being 'denied' their right to sleep. She asked who had given permission for the road work, pointing out that her 85-year-old mother was also awake due to the annoyance. She wondered if the general public were "useless entities" because she couldn't go out and couldn't even sleep. 'Can we breathe?' she wrote. 'And live in harmony?'

The actress had last featured as a guest on the show Bigg Boss 13. Her most recent full-fledged project was Nach Baliye 9 with Anuj Sachdeva. She has recently become well-known for her funny videos with her sons Kshitij and Sagar.
