Teachers play a very important role in everyone’s life as they help in shaping lives and we don’t need a special day to appreciate them.

This is the time of the year when we acknowledge and appreciate teachers who have educated and empowered us. They have made us the person we are today and have taught us important lessons of life. They were there when we had a problem just to solve all our issues and apart from being mentors, they continue to be our best friends and guide.

In India, 5th September is celebrated as Teacher’s Day. It is the birth date of the second President of India, Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, who was born on 5 September 1888. Almost every student acknowledges and appreciates his/her favourite teachers on this auspicious day.
