It’s the holy month and the lockdown has affected the celebrations of Ramzan. Some TV actors were interviewed and asked how they are celebrating it. Let’s see what these TV stars have to say:
Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain fame Aasif Sheikh says, "Generally, we have elaborate meals during Ramzan, but this time, we are restricting it to frugal meals. I also miss the iftar in Delhi. It used to be a like community Iftar in front of my house." He also said that he misses going to Bhendi Bazaar as there he used to go and have Nihari roti. He said that is the best place in Mumbai.
Tujhse Hai Raabta fame Sehban Azim says, ''This is the first time I am getting an opportunity to observe all rozas and pray peacefully." Due to the lockdown, he could not go back to his hometown Delhi and is residing with his elder brother in Mumbai. He also added, "No matter how many hours we are spending on video calls, I am missing her and the food she prepares a lot.''
Jijaji Chhat Par Hain fame Hiba Nawab says, ''I am with my family for Ramzan after so long, and it reminds me of my childhood days. I am cooking exotic Mexican and Italian dishes like pasta, garlic bread and pizza for Iftar. I am also experimenting with desserts." Hiba also said that dishes like black chana chaat and pakode are essentials on the plate.
Sara Khan says, "Bhajiya and fryums are a quintessential part of my Iftar platter. I am a very good cook and no matter how busy I am, I take out time to cook. I recently made fish biryani, which turned out to be really tasty."
