Topped By Cristiano Ronaldo – Virat Kohli Ranked 9 In The Sports Category Of Instagram Rich List 2018

India is known as the hub of cricket. Even though it has originated in England, it is played more in India. A cricket match is like a festival in India. Virat Kholi has become the trending sports personality in the country with his charming looks and excellent play with bat and also as a captain of Indian cricket team.

Recently, Virat Kohli became the leading Indian on the Instagram rich list. The Indian cricket team captain rakes in around $120,000 per post on the photo-sharing app. He ranks 17th on a list compiled by HopperHQ, the Instagram post scheduler, that sees US celebrity Kylie Jenner, who rakes in an estimated $1.1 million per post, top the list.

Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo sits on top with $750,000 per post in the sports category, ahead of Brazil’s Neymar and Argentina captain Lionel Messi, who earn around $600,000 and $500,000 respectively.

In the list, Jenner and actress/singer Selena Gomez ($800,000 per post) occupy the top two spots followed by Ronaldo and David Beckham, who makes $300,000 per post, on third and fourth respectively.

Kohli beats American professional basketball player Stephen Curry and former professional boxer Floyd Mayweather ( $110,000 and $107,000 respectively) to bag the 9th spot in the sports category.

Talking about Virat, he recently surpassed AB de Villiers to become the fastest batsman to score 3000 ODI runs as skipper. Kohli achieved the feat during his 71-run knock against England in Leeds in just 49 innings while De Villiers achieved the feat in 60 innings.

In the latest India vs England ODI series, India may have lost the series 2-1, but Kohli remained in good form. Scores of 75, 45 and 71 run to total 191 runs at an average of 63.66. It also gave him his career-best rating points: 911. Due to this, he has topped the top 10 ODI batsmen list.
