The sad news was shared by the palace. The note read, "It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen announces the passing away of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh (sic)."
After the passing away from Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh his grandson Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle has also paid tribute to him. The heartfelt tribute was posted on the website of husband-wife duo-owned foundation Archewell. It just displayed a single message without any drop-down menus or links to another page.
The message on the website read, “In Loving Memory of His Royal Highness, The Duke of Edinburgh 1921-2021.” This was written in white on a dark background.
The note further added, “Thank you for your service.. You will be greatly missed.”
Amid all the things going on between the Royal family and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, there are speculations about whether they will attend the funeral or not. Another report suggests that Prince Harry might immediately fly back to Britain but his wife the Duchess of Sussex might stay back as she is pregnant with her second child.
