Throwback images from Neetu Kapoor’s marriage will take you down memory lane

In the year 1973, the Bollywood film industry found its first chocolate boy who had an innocent looks and an amazing charm. In the year 1966, another child actress went on to become a star with her cute and bubbly nature.


Again, in the mid-70s when the chocolate boy and the cute girl paired for the song "Khullam Khulla Pyaar Ka Izhaar", they indeed started a new chapter in the journey of love till the movie "Jab Tak Hai Jaan."


Both Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh are considered to be one of the best couples in the Bollywood film industry and they are seen setting up couple goals for their fans every now and then.

Both the star pair has been supporting each other since they started loving each other and they are indeed a role model for all their fans.

If we start digging further, we can get to know that Rishi Kapoor proposed Neetu Singh with the ring of her sister.


At that time, Neetu Singh was just 21 years old and Rishi Kapoor proposed her and eventually both the families gave approval for their marriage.

In fact, Rishi Kapoor did not have a ring of his own to give Neetu, and this was the reason why he decided to give her his sister's ring.

The couple got married in 1980 and before that, they dated each other for 5 years. And now, they have successfully completed their 39 years of marriage.


Recently a few throwback pictures of Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor were shared on the internet and they were indeed black and white picture. If we closely look into the pictures we can also see the young Karisma Kapoor and Sonali Bendre's husband Goldie Behl in the frame.

For the chooda ceremony, Rishi Kapoor's wife Neetu was surrounded by her friends, which included actress Rekha and many more.


On the radio show, Suhaana Safar with Annu Kapoor hosted by Annu Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor had remembered the early days of her meeting with hubby and stated, “I had a horrible first meeting with Rishi Kapoor. He had a habit of bullying, so he would comment on my make-up and clothes, and I'd feel so angry. He was actually a brat who would bully everyone and I was very young at that time. I used to be furious with him.”
