Man Vs Wild is a popular show that airs on Discovery Channel. The show is hosted by Bear Grylls who shows us techniques and tricks to survive in wildness. The show features top celebs on it every now and then and the new one to feature in the show is none other than our own Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Yes! You read it right. Narendra Modi featured episode of Man Vs Wild is soon going to telecast in Discovery Channel on August 12 at 9 pm. The host Gryll himself tweeted it on his official Twitter handle.
Sharing a short video of the show that will air on August 12, Grylls tweeted, “People across 180 countries will get to see the other side of PM @narendramodi as he ventures into Indian wilderness to create awareness about animal conservation & environmental change.”
Talking about the show, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, said, “For years, I have lived among nature, in the mountains and the forests. These years have a lasting impact on my life. So when I was asked about a special programme focussing on life beyond politics and that too in the midst of nature I was both intrigued and inclined to take part in it.” Check out the video below.

He further said, “For me, this show presents a great opportunity to showcase to the world India’s rich environmental heritage and stress on the importance of environment conservation and living in harmony with nature. It was a great experience spending time in the jungle once again, this time with Bear, who is blessed with indefatigable energy and quest to experience nature at its purest.”
The trailer which was released recently shows, Modi driving into the Jim Corbett National Park in northern India guided by Grylls, with images of a tiger, a herd of elephants and deer running in the distance. The voice of Gryll comes, “You are the most important person in India, it’s my job to protect you.”
The show is in its 8th season now and the host Gryll has shown many survival techniques in different remote locations and wild lands. Earlier, celebs like Zac Efron, Channing Tatum, Ben Stiller, Michael B. Jordan and then President Barack Obama featured in the show.
