Taapsee Pannu’s birthday is national holiday for herself, says the actress

Ironwoman Taapsee Pannu is gearing up for the release of her upcoming movie Mulk alongside veteran actor Rishi Kapoor and Hossana Boy Prateik Babbar which is slated to release on August 3, 2018.

Today Taapsee turn a year older. She is 31-years-old now. Taapsee has been in the Bollywood from last 8 years and also a part of the regional film industry. Taapsee needs no introduction now as she established herself as a successful actor with her choice of movies and her outstanding talent. She alone proved that a film doesn't need a hero to be successful.

During an EXCLUSIVE interaction with Pinkvilla, Taapsee spoke at length about her birthday plans. The actress said, "It's a rule that it's my national holiday when it's my birthday. I never work on my birthday. I either spend it with my entire family or probably go abroad with my sister somewhere. But I definitely don't work on my birthday."

Telling that there is a slight change this time on her birthday as her film is in the promotional phase. She revealed, "There is going to be a slight exception this time, I am not shooting on my birthday but I will be promoting my film that day."

Adding, "I can't help it. I can't suddenly vanish when my film needs me just two days before the release. So that way I will sacrifice my national holiday for this."

Concluding, Taapsee said, "By rule, I don't work. It's the day when I want to sink it in that I have become older."

On the professional fronts, her upcoming movie Mulk is directed by Anubhav Sinha. In the film, Taapsee will be seen playing the role of a tough lawyer. Also, Taapsee has another movie that will release soon. She will be next seen in Manmarziyaan alongside Abhishek Bachchan and Vicky Kaushal and the movie is slated to release this September. Meanwhile, this movie will mark the comeback of Abhishek Bachchan after a long time. Manmarziyaan is directed by Anurag Kashyap and the movie is bankrolled by Anand L Rai.
