Superstar Singers: Dharmendra burst into tears after watching the clip from his hometown Sahnewal

Recently, the ‘He-Man of Bollywood’ was seen promoting the upcoming flick Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas, with son Sunny Deol & grandson Karan Deol on a television reality show Superstar Singer. They attended the television reality show for the promotion of their movie in which Karan Deol played the lead the lead role. The film is directed by Sunny Deol.

The trio Dharmendra, Sunny Deol and Karan Deol made a silent entry to the reality show. The host of the reality show Jay Bhanushali showed Dharmendra a small video clip of his hometown, while Dharmendra was keenly watching the video he was very emotional and was all in tears, because it took him down to the childhood days, the long down memory lane.


On the TV reality show, Dharmendra recalled his old memories and time spent in Sahnewal. The super star was all in tears after watching a video from his hometown in Sahnewal.

The video showcased railway track near where he used to wait for long hours for the train to Mumbai, where he would achieve his dream of becoming an actor.

Dharmendra was very popular and loved by his fans in 70s and 80s. He has given many blockbusters hit movies. The video also showed his school as well the sweet shop from where he and his friends used to have Lassi and Gajar Ka Halwa.


The clip was enough to make the superstar emotional. He then told the audience about his childhood stories and even said he is very deeply attached to his roots in Sahnewal.

They were living at that place even before partition of India took place. By seeing father Dharmendra in tears, son Sunny and grandson Karan also become emotional.

Dharmendra also said “Rula Diya Naa Yaar’ (You made me cry).

The contestants of the show sung songs from his films and cheered him up.
