Sumona Chakravarti approached for Kasauti Zindagi Ki, Parth Samthaan will play Anurag as reported

Kasauti Zindagi Kay 2 is creating a lot of buzzes all around from the day Ekta Kapoor had announced that once again she is going to make Kasautii- her most famous love saga show on Starplus that ruled the hearts of many for 9 years. There are many speculations made about the cast of the upcoming Kasautii.

While Hina Khan is almost final for the role of Komolika in the show as a source told a leading daily that the runner-up of Big Boss 11 and Khatron Ke Khiladi 8 will play the role and said, "Talks have reached an advanced stage and the makers are keen on roping in Hina for the part. She is expected to sign on the dotted line soon".

It is also reported, Parth Samthaan will play Anurag Basu. The casting for the show is still in the process and the promo has been already released.

Also, one of the pivotal characters in Kasauti Zindagi Kay was Nivedita, Anurag's sister. It seems Ekta Kapoor has approached Sumona Chakravarti to play the character. Previously, actress Poonam Narula played the role of Anurag's sister Nivedita. In a statement to a leading daily, Sumona said that she had been approached but nothing was finalized so far. Hina said the same when Ekta met her.

Sumona was last seen in the first season of Dev where she played Meera on Colors channel. In the current season of the show, she has an on and off an appearance with Puja Banerjee and Jigyasa Singh- the two female leads. Sumona was not a part of Family Time with Kapil Sharma as well.

Talking about the other characters of upcoming Kasautii Zindagi Ki Erica Fernandes got finalized as Prerna. And who will play Anurag, it is still not decided. But last week there was a huge talk about the male lead after a publication confirmed that it is Parth. Later, she said it was a love story in the age group of 24-26. Then, the name of Shamitabh actor Abhimanyu Chaudhary came around as he shared the promo of the show on his Instagram account. This created more gossips around the show.
