Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are ready for their first summer royal vacation as a married couple. According to an international leading daily People's, the couple will likely spend a few days with the Queen at Balmoral Castle, the royal residence in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
As per reports, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be spending a few weeks together before heading on to join Queen Elizabeth. The queen is already on-site in Scottland and won't return to London until early October. Queen Elizabeth made it compulsory for all the royal family members to visit her during the summer holiday every year.
So, Meghan and Prince Harry will visit Scotland to join the join there, after attending the wedding of Harry's good friend Charlie van Straubenzee this weekend. Meghan will be the one who is experiencing all this for the first time which includes a lot of activities, like outdoor picnics, barbecues, joining Harry in hunting or stalking deer and traditional parties and dances.
William and Kate's summer vacations have already started as they took a break in Mustique Islands, in the Caribbean archipelago nation of St. Vincent and the Grenadines alongside Kate's parents. Before joining the Queen in Scotland to spend some time Kate and William will probably spend their vacation now at Anmer Hall in Norfolk, about 120 miles north of London.
"Balmoral Castle is one of the royal family's two private residences that belong to the monarchy, according to the Royals' website. It was bought by Queen Victoria and Prince Albert in 1852 and has remained with the Crown ever since. The sprawling property is over 50,000 acres and includes a private theater, a ballroom, and expansive gardens, according to The Telegraph."
According to People's reports, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip often brought their children here when they were growing up. Now, the royal couple returns here every year for the summer vacation and welcome royal relatives as guests.
Meghan Markle will surely enjoy her vaca time with hubby and family and it is going to be a busy trip as Meghan will also celebrate her 37th birthday coming Saturday.
