We are still not sure about the genre of the movie. Is it a romantic comedy? Or is it a social satire like Toilet Ek Prem Katha or Padman? Maybe we will get a clarity on August 10. Sui Dhaaga: Made in India is co-produced by Maneesh Sharma and directed by Sharat Katariya, who previously helmed Dum Laga Ke Haisha.

Mostly, Varun will play the character of a tailor in the movie. The film is shot in Bhopal, Chanderi and Delhi. It is set to hit the screens on September 28 and will clash with Vishal Bhardwaj’s Pataakha at the box office.
