SRK on Zero & new projects: Let me enjoy a little bit of un-success as I had success for so long

Bollywood badshah Shah Rukh Khan is in Australia as the Chief Guest at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne 2019 (IFFM 2019). The actor was awarded the Honorary Doctor of Letters by La Trobe University.

Shah Rukh Khan also received the 'Excellence In Cinema' award that was arranged by IFFM 2019. During his stay in Australia, the Bollywood star made his Australian fans go crazy and his buffs were indeed excited to see their popular superstar over there.


His fans are also waiting for him to sign new deal for any movie after Zero. He was also asked by one of his fans regarding this and he said that he is driven by the people who makes great cinema.

The actor said the he believed in his capacity to do really good cinema and also told that he has around 20-25 years of good movie career left with him.


Talking about the same, SRK stated to media people, "What drives me to do a film is the people around me who make such a great cinema... And I think I have a huge amount of capacity to do some really good cinema. I have 20-25 years of good cinema left in me."

He was also asked about the debacle of Zero and the actor said that his last movie Zero was a disaster and didn't do well at the box office. The star was ready to accept the fact and said that he is willing to enjoy a little bit of un-success now, as he had been enjoying success since a long time. He said that he has taken a break from his work and will be having some off time for the next four or five months.


He spoke about Zero's debacle saying, "I just finished the last film I made and to put it lightly, it was a disaster. I said to myself that let me enjoy a little bit of un-success as I had success for so long. So I have taken some time off for the next four or five months."

Shah Rukh Khan said that it is because of such breaks that he was able to come down to Melbourne and meet his fans. He also enjoyed realizing and discovering new stories and also doing some intellectual speaking. The actor has revealed that he has not signed for any movie so far and has been hearing a lot of stories. But he has not signed any deal and seems to be enjoying his break from the movies.
