The world is missing Bollywood legend Sridevi today as it is her 55th birth Anniversary. Last year she had celebrated her birthday in a star-studded manner and this year all we are left with are the memories. It is a hard time for the Kapoor family who miss her presence on every occasion.
Today, Sridevi's elder daughter Janhvi Kapoor too got emotional and posted a picture from her childhood. The snap is from Janhvi's childhood where Sridevi is holding her in her arms and Boney is standing behind them. However, Janhvi did not write anything in caption and we understand the reason behind it.
In talk with a leading daily, Boney Kapoor said, “There are heroes and then there are legends, heroes get remembered but legends never die. Sri lives with us every day… not a minute goes by when we don’t miss her.”
In Sridevi's memory, Bollywood Art Project is building an 18 feet tall mural painting of Sridevi on a building wall on Chapel Road, Bandra, Mumbai. Sridevi's look from her film Gurudev will be recreated in the painting.
Few months back, it was Janhvi and Boney's 22nd wedding anniversary. On the occasion, he shared a video on social media and wrote, “Today would have been our 22nd wedding anniversary. Jaan... My wife, my soulmate, the epitome of love, grace , warmth and laughter lives within me forever...”
Boney had once said in an interview, “We miss her every moment. Even as I talk to you I feel that emptiness in my life that she has left behind. I am trying to be both mother and father to my children.”
Sridevi is remembered for her 50 years of remarkable career in her Bollywood in which she gave numerous hits and mesmerized the fans with her acting and beauty.
