Once again, Bollywood hunk Sonu Sood has taken a special step in order to provide assistance to the needy during the time of the worldwide pandemic. The ‘Dabangg’ star took the initiative to hand-over e-rickshaws to the underprivileged people in his hometown.
The actor belongs to the city of Moga, Punjab. Sonu distributed e-rickshaws to around eight people from Moga.
The actor stated, “We are distributing e-rickshaws so that the needy people can earn their living. This is my small contribution from my end to help those who are in need. We are distributing e-rickshaws to needy people across the country.”
Some week ago, Sonu Sood made the declaration about his new initiative to offer e-rickshaws to the needy who have mislaid their source of livelihood because of the pandemic. Sood acknowledged for movies such as Dabangg, Jodhaa Akbar, and Simmba, became the talk of the town for his unique work in assisting migrants reach their homes during the lockdown earlier this year.
The 47-year-old actor stated that his initiative, named 'khud kamaao ghar chalaao', is directed at generating work chances to make people "self-reliant".
"I believe providing job opportunities is more important than distributing supplies. I'm sure that this initiative will help them stand on their feet yet again by making them self-reliant and self-sufficient," Sood said in a declaration. "A small step today, for a big leap tomorrow. By providing free e-rickshaws that can be used to kickstart small businesses. A small effort to empower people to become self-reliant," the actor tweeted.
While sharing his views on the continuing farmers’ stir, the actor said, “I really hope that the government and farmers find a solution to the issue soon.”
