Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja will get hitched in the coming week which is May 8, 2018, and that too in Mumbai itself. The wedding is set to be an intimate affair with the presence of family and close friends.
Sonam and Anand's family released a statement yesterday. It read as:
"From the Kapoor & Ahuja families.
The Kapoor & Ahuja families, take great joy and pride, in announcing the marriage of Sonam & Anand. The wedding will take place on the 8th of May in Mumbai. Since it is an intimate affair, we request you to respect the family's need for privacy. Thank you for all your blessings and love, as we celebrate this special moment in our lives.
Thanks & Regards."
The picture below is of the e-invitation of the couple's wedding and it looks classy and lovely. The wedding will take place between 11 AM to 12:30 PM at Rockdale, Bandra which is Sonam's aunt's home.
The dress code for the wedding is Indian Traditional. This is mentioned on the card itself.
Have a look at the card:
One of the reports earlier said that Sonam and Anand will be sending in e-invitations to the people as they want to avoid wastage of paper. The customised invitations will have the names of guests embossed on it. The e-card is spreads along two pages with one green and other in beige colour. Not just that, the report further states that stickers will also be sent out to ensure no one gatecrashers. Guests will have to flash the invites on phones for entry.
Furthermore, the wedding ceremonies will kickstart from May 7 with mehndi and haldiceremony scheduled to take place at Sonam's BKC residence.
Guests are expected to be dressed in Indian wear and white is the colour for the day.
Well, what do you think about the invitation card? Isn't this cute?
