Soha Ali Khan has come forth backing up her best friend Neha Dhupia's special initiative names #FreedomToFeed with the aim to promote consciousness regarding breastfeeding. In a special video recording posted on her personal Insta handle, she talked about her special experience with her cute baby Inaaya.
Saif’s sissy stated, "It was definitely one of the most difficult aspects of being a new parent for me. As it is, I am so competitive by nature. I wanted to be the exclusive provider of nutrition and I was quite kicked by this wonderful, very humbling process that was happening to me. But it was also very demanding, very tiring and very frustrating, at times, to meet the rapidly increasing demands of a hungry baby.”
Soha talked about a special instance in which she took out her breast milk using a pump in an airplane bathroom.
She remembered that as a working parent, she had to pump milk in the weirdest of places.
“I have pumped in an airplane bathroom. When the seatbelt signs came on, I had to hurriedly dismantle everything, spilling lots of very precious breast milk along the way. When I came out and made it back to my seat, the air hostess asked me if I was doing my make-up inside. I was like, 'Uh...no.'"
Breastfeeding in a crowd is disfavored by a lot of people, however the actress thinks that it must be taken positively.
"I think that they are doing something that is incredibly valuable, scientific and incredible. It really needs to be supported, as opposed to being shunned," she said.
Soha disclosed that she could experience the challenges of maternity, knowing that she was not along.
To mark World Breastfeeding Week, which started from August 1, Neha made declaration of her #FreedomToFeed drive that endorses breastfeeding and inspires females to feed their offspring anytime and anywhere they wish to.
