Video: Snakes On Set Stalled Shoot Of Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt Starrer ‘Kalank’

From 'Student of the Year' to 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania' to 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania' and now 'Kalank, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan are gearing for the fourth time. Kalank is the ambitious project of filmmakers Karan Johar based on period drama. However, this film is co-produced by Dharma Productions and Sajid Nadiadwala's Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.

Well, this film is not only starrer by Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt but Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur and Kunal Kemmu is also playing the important role.

However, Varun, Alia, and Madhuri have already kicked off the shooting for the film but on Monday the shoot has to be interrupted because of the very unusual reason.

When Alia and Varun shooting for an intense sequence when the crew members suddenly detected two snakes inching towards them.

As per the source from the shoot revealed, "The actors are on a 45-day schedule, so the team is taking precautions to ensure everyone’s safety after this incident. On Monday afternoon, there was a lot of commotion on set because the snakes were huge, so the shoot came to an immediate halt. After ensuring everyone was safe, the crew took the snakes back into the jungle."

Highway actress, Alia earlier talking about the film said, "Kalank is my first epic-drama. It is an ambitious but emotional story. I’m reuniting with Varun (Dhawan) and every time we shoot together, it’s super special. It’s only been four days but I’m completed sucked into the cinematic world Abhishek is creating. On Friday, I will be shooting with Madhuri Dixit for the first time. I hope I don’t forget my lines when I see her smile!"

Kalank is scheduled to release on April 19, 2019.
