Smriti Irani Gets Teary-Eyed Visiting Her First Home for Ekta Kapoor’s New Web Series On ALTBalaji

Ekta Kapoor must be on the cloud nine as her shows and movies are the talks of the town. The lady has successfully managed to take a jump from Television to Movies and there is no looking back for her. From Saas-Bahu on TV to come up with strong content on her online streaming platform, called ALTBalaji, she has given a 360 turn to her journey of becoming a successful producer, content head, and a director. The lady needs no introduction now.

Currently, she is creating a buzz for her upcoming iconic daily soap, a reboot of Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 for which she turned for SRK to be the narrative of leading characters Prerna and Anurag. Not only this, Starplus has installed 23 feet statues all over India of the cover picture. Have a look:

Well, Ekta is all set for her next web series on ALTBalaji titled HOME and she came up with a very unique idea of promoting it. The team of HOME started the #MYHOME in which they will introduce the homes of celebrities.

For which, Ekta recently, shared a video taking to her social media in which Union Minister of India & Textile Minister and a former TV actor Smriti Irani paid a visit to her first home in Gurugram, she lived in 35 years ago.

Sharing the video on her Twitter official, she wrote, "HOME is not just made up of four walls, but it is love and family that make a house, a HOME! Watch the emotional journey of @smritiirani as she revisits her childhood home and for the first time shares her #MyHOME story with us @altbalaji ".

In the video, you can see Smriti went to her old apartment in Gurugram and she became emotional when meeting her childhood friends and their children. There, the residents greet her with warmth and affection. For them, she remains the child she was.

However, when she came to know that the old house she used to live in, transformed into a shop, she breaks down into tears. Just like in the old days, she took a rickshaw ride with her friend and enjoys a plate of local chaat. Smriti also shared a video and wrote HOME with it.

Also, other celebs took this #MYHOME journey like Aahana Kumra, Nakull Mehta, Prince Narula, Kanchi Singh, and Avika Gor, among others and shared the stories on the social media. Ekta also shared a video where her father's Jeetendra visit to his first home.
