Simmba: Ranveer Singh Posted Quirky Caricature Of Himself In Cop Avatar

Ranveer Singh impressed the audience with his last release Padmaavat in which he played the role of Alauddin Khilji. Now, he will next be seen in the role of a cop in the film 'Simmba'. Rohit Shetty is the director of the film and Sara Ali Khan will be seen opposite Ranveer.

As Ranveer is quite active on the social media platforms, he gives the glimpses of this upcoming movie. A few days back, he talked about how Rohit is giving him the biggest song of his career, and now he posted a quirky artwork of his character from Simmba. Have, a look here:

Simmba is the official remake of Jr NTR and Kajal Agarwal's superhit film Temper. Recently, the actor posted a picture in which he is looking kickass in the avatar of cop Sangram Bhalerao. He captioned the image, “AALA RE AALA #Simmba AALA !” Before that, the makers shared a dialogue video of Ranveer in which he was saying, Me star police Sangram Bhalerao, jo deto traas, tyacha me gheto class.”

Simmba is a Rohit Shetty's film, so fans are expecting a high voltage picture. The film is being shot at Hyderabad, Goa and Mumbai. Karan Johar's Dharma Productions is producing the film and it is slated to release on December 28, this year.

For Ranveer, the year seems quite hectic. He has finished the shooting for Zoya Akhtar directorial Gully Boy which also stars Alia Bhatt. The film will release on February 14, 2019. He is currently shooting Simmba and after completing it, Ranveer will start shooting for Kabir Khan’s ’83.

However, yesterday he also shared his picture doing intension workout. As the actor is following the tough workout schedule to be perfect for the role, he said “Rohit sir had told me [about the physique] a long time back and was clear about the kind of body he wished for me to have. So, now it’s time to put the blinkers on, put my head down, work hard, and acquire the body that he wants.”
