Sidharth Malhotra to work in ‘Ek Villain’s’ sequel, direction handed to Mohit Suri

The super-hit movie 'Ek Villain' was full of power pack performances. Its also one of the most successful movie of actor Sidharth Malhotra. The filmmakers have finally revealed that they are coming with the sequel of Ek Villain. Like the first part Ekta Kapoor is producing this sequel and direction is handed to Mohit Suri.

Mohit Suri who earlier denied the news of directing this movie has also confirmed the news. He was busy with a thriller movie which is now kept on hold. Actor Aditya Roy Kapoor is starring in his project, but it seems the film is now not in priority list of Mohit Suri. The director is currently working on script of Ek Villain 2 along with Tushar Hiranandani. The first part of 'Ek Villain' was written by Milap Zaveri who is busy with Satyamev Jayate. Ritiesh Deshmukh's performance in the movie was highly noticed by audience who won't be the part of its sequel.

Mohit Suri in an interview said "It's true that I am writing another film at the moment. The thriller I was to direct is on hold. Ekta has expressed a desire to make a sequel to Ek Villain, but there's no script yet. I am jamming with my writers and brainstorming to come up with a concept. It may be a love story. Tushar has a great mind, so I often bounce my ideas off with him."

Talking about the cast of the sequel Sidharth Malhotra is said to be playing the main lead once again. The remaining cast will be finalized after the script is completed. It is also an opportunity for actor Sidhharth Malhotra as his last 2-3 movies didn't work well at the box office. Sidharth Malhotra last appeared in Aiyaary and he has also signed 'The Vikram Batra' Biopic.
