On World Environment Day, Sharjah-based agriculturist Sudheesh Guruvayoor created record after winning the most coveted Guinness World Record title.
The hardworking farmer attained the objective of distributing the maximum number of plantlets ever distributed all over the globe with 5000 curry leaf plant plantlets.
The 5000 curry leaf plant plantlets got distributed amongst the pupils of Sharjah Indian School on July 04 morning.
The authorized Guinness World Record endeavour on July 03 was also prearranged to match up with the Year of Zayed observation in the nation.
In a special Facebook post about his special title, he wrote, "My life's dream has come true with what happened. The fact this record coincides with the Year of Zayed as well as World Environment Day makes it even sweeter."
Guruvayoor belongs to the south-Indian state of Kerala and is an electrical engineer turned farmer residing in Sharjah since the year 1997.
Guruvayoor is not new to special records as well as honours, all of it in raising plants in the habitually intolerant desertic soil with pioneering proposals and uphill struggle.
