The movie has opened for great expectations and we must say it was beyond what an average audience expects from the flick. It is a powerful yet silent movie as per the critics. The movie stars Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal in the lead roles. The movie is doing pretty well at the box office.

The movie on the opening day grossed Rs 7.53 crore and it has recorded 50 percent grown on Saturday. According to the trade analysts, Raazi earned Rs 11.30 crore on the second day of its release.
In the opening weekend, the movie is expected to collect around Rs 31 crore. The movie has received critical acclaim along with the record-breaking collections. The reviews were so positive and with the positive word of mouth, it can be expected that it will set a record soon and will stand as a milestone in Alia’s career.
Alia Bhatt starrer Raazi rakes Rs 11 cr on the second day
The movie is a spy-thriller where Alia plays the role of Sehmat. Alia plays an inexperienced Kashmiri whose life takes a turn when her father decides to make her into an Indian spy. She gets rigorous training under Indian intelligence agent Khalid Mir before being married off to Pakistani Army officer in the period of Indo-Pak war that took place in 1971 whose father is an influential person in Pakistan.
She carries the spy activities by staying by his side helping the country. She then starts leaking details of Pakistan’s military strategy to Indian agencies. It is a real-life story and the director has carried out the entire movie so well without much lagging. The movie received 4 out of 5-star rating from almost all the top reviewers.
Both the leading actors gave a compelling performance in their respective roles. Kaushal did a great job playing the military officer come a subdued husband to Alia. The movie wonderfully depicts the matter of patriotism which does not seem to cross the border in any sense. Alia once again proved her talent with this movie.
