Ranbir praises Vicky by saying,“Vicky Kaushal by far is my favorite actor. What a phenomenal talent! So much of goodness, so much of positivity, his rhythm is new, his dialogue delivery, he’s such a humble actor to work with.”

Well, the actor who played the role of Sanju's friends Kamli shared this memory on this Instagram with the caption, “I’m miles away, but they made sure I be a part of the celebration. Team #Sanju you all are just too special. Love you all and miss you all so much. And RK meri jaan, my brother, I love you too, you are such a gem! @hirani.rajkumar Sir I feel so lucky to have worked with you. Thank You @diamirzaofficial for capturing this, you have my heart. @shaunagautam@ekalakhani @collindcunha and everybody in the team, Hugs and kisses!”

Earlier in an interview, Vicky Kaushal said, "All of us keep thriving to have normalcy in life. This man (Dutt) has only lived only at the top or at the bottom. He has seen the best and worst in life. He has not seen normalcy. I think it is courageous and generous of him to allow a filmmaker to make a film on him with complete honesty, with no filters."
