Sanjay Dutt to share screen with Ranbir Kapoor in ‘Sanju’

The much awaited movie 'Sanju' based on Sanjay Dutt's life is all set to hit the cinemas on 29th of June. And everyday it is coming up with something new. As Salman Khan told in a media interaction that he expected Sanjay Dutt himself to act in the movie. The filmmakers seem to be working on his idea. Well, Sanjay Dutt is not approached for acting but for doing a fun a song along with reel life 'Sanju' aka Ranbir Kapoor.

A source revealed that "This film is a roller-coaster ride of emotions, love and friendship. And we wanted to make a fun song that depicts Sanjay Dutt's relationship with the media. This song will be part of the end credits. It will surely make the audiences' experience a complete journey of his life". Initially Sanjay Dutt's team planned for a video chat between Sanjay Dutt and Ranbir Kapoor that will display in the end credits. But finally they have decide to go with the fun song.

Earlier in an interview, Ranbir Kapoor told that "It has never happened that a person played himself in his own biopic. This destroys the effect of a character. I knew that I will be compared to Sanjay Dutt and that is why I have tried my best to do justice to his role." He added that whether people see him as the 40-year-old Dutt or as the 20-year old, they should feel that they are watching an artist who is playing Sanjay Dutt."

The movie is already grabbing audience and media attention. The songs are being liked by fans and the movie is also said to be a milestone for Ranbir Kapoor's career in the film industry. He is playing the role of Sanjay Dutt in different phases of his life and will be romancing many B-town actresses in this film by Rajkumar Hirani.
