Salman calls Anil Kapoor the only replacement of Amitabh Bachchan in film industry

Anil Kapoor has established himself in the Indian film industry with his hard work and dedication towards acting. He still looks the same young man who got popularity with his character 'Lakhan'. Recently he appeared in Race 3 and superstar Salman has praised him for his constant evolution in Bollywood. He also called Anil as the only replacement of legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan in the film industry.

Salman said "His enthusiasm has not died off and the interest to work every single day is still there. He is the only person from his generation who has been working every single day and it's the most remarkable thing." Few people know that Anil Kapoor couldn't make it to the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) as he failed in the entrance test of the same. But his love and determination towards work made him successful.

Initially his films didn't worked well at the box office. He faced some major failures after making debut with 'Woh Saat Din'. His career started growing with Karma, Mr. India, Tezaab, Ram Lakhan and Kishan Kanhaiya. With success of his movies the actor was being compared to Amitabh Bachchan until his home production's "Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja" resulted to be a big flop. Anil never gave up on his dream and finally got mainstream recognition with his characters in Virasat, Taal, Pukar and Nayak. Audience saw a different side of Anil Kapoor with these movies and it boosted his career.

He then also got a chance to work in the famous Hollywood movies "Mission Impossible - Ghost Protocol and Slumdog Millionaire". Though one of his project Amazon Series 'Oasis' failed to become a full fledged series he maintained his stardom. This was another phase of his life where he grew further in his profession.
