Salman Khan Finally Replies To Vivek Oberoi’s Tweet After Posting Aishwarya Rai Meme

In the last few days, Vivek Oberoi, Aishwarya Rai, and Salman Khan have been in the news constantly because of a tweet. A few days ago, Vivek Oberoi posted a disrespectful meme targeting Bollywood diva, Aishwarya Rai. Even since he posted the tweet, he has been under fire. Fans and media have caused a massive uproar on social media. The tweet has garnered the attention of many celebrities including Sonam K Ahuja, who took to Twitter to call the actions of Vivek as distasteful. Things didn’t stop here, the actor was even issued a notice by the National Commission for Women asking explanation behind the meme that he posted.

Now, as you know the whole saga, Salman Khan has also finally responded to the controversial tweet. The actor was asked regarding the tweet during a media interaction for his upcoming movie, Bharat. To this Salman had already formed an epic reply and cleared that he doesn’t use the micro-blogging platform like he used to in the past. We all know that Salman and Vivek share a negative history ever since the latter held a press conference in 2003.

The whole statement of Salman read, “Main dhyan hi nahi deta. Pehle jaisa tweet hi nahi karta, toh memes kya dekhunga. Main kaam karoon ya comments dekhoon. Main bilkul dhyan nahi deta. ( I don't pay attention to all this. I don't tweet like I used to, hence how will I see Tweets. Should I work or see comments? I don't pay attention to all this at all.)”

After the backlash, Vivek had no chance other than to apologize. The actor took to Twitter and wrote, “Sometimes what appears to be funny and harmless at first glance to one, may not be so to others. I have spent the last 10 years empowering more than 2000 underprivileged girls, I cant even think of being disrespectful to any woman ever. Even if one woman is offended by my reply to the meme, it calls for remedial action. Apologies tweet deleted.”
