Saif Ali Khan Feels Bad About Not Meeting His Son After Coming Back To Home

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was last seen in critically and commercially acclaimed we series Sacred Games alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui and others. He has once again showed his acting skills. Lately, the actor has also started appearing on television as a narrator on the show 'Kahan Hum Kahan Tum'.

Also, Saif recently was seen enjoying vacation with his wife Kareena Kapoor Khan and son Taimur Ali Khan in Tuscany. The social media got filled with their pictures from vacation. Being busy in work, the actor misses family time.

Talking about the same in an interview, the actor said, “When I come home after work and find Taimur sleeping, I feel bad. We shoot long hours, but if I haven’t packed up even after 8 pm, I feel uncomfortable because it means taking away time from my son. In my growing-up years, my parents taught me about the importance of respecting family space. My father (Mansoor Ali Khan Pitaudi) was a cricketer and mother (Sharmila Tagore) is an actress, and they both had hectic schedules. However, we learnt that it is important to talk about other things, too, at home and that’s how life becomes beautiful.”

The actor also expressed his feelings, “Behind our outwardly glamorous lives, there is a long list of missed birthdays, anniversaries, and new year holidays. In that sense, working on TV is harder and more intense than doing a film. Life goes on pretty fast and time flies. And I really feel that if you can’t spend time with family and loved ones it is really a waste," he added.

Earlier, when he was asked if he gets to spend more time with Taimur than he did with his older kids,"Actually, when Sara was born, I had a pretty phenomenal career low, so I had lots of time and I was around her quite a lot. I didn’t even miss work or crib about not having it, because all that time was spent with her. With Taimur, yes, we balance it out and I try to make sure we spend some time with each other regularly. I tried to do that with both my other kids as well," he said.

"For example, Taimur wakes up at 7.30 am, I am up by 9 am. He comes, takes the torch by my bed and puts it in his mouth like the doctor. He keeps doing things like that. He likes to see the moon, which is nice. He watches it before he goes to sleep every day. He loves nature and is quite outdoorsy. He imitates us doing yoga by making some painful noises which obviously, I’m making while I’m stretching. He does a good side bend and falls over," the actor added.
