Riteish, Genelia, Anupam visits Rishi Kapoor in NY, Neetu shared picture

Recently, Rishi Kapoor took to Twitter and shared a picture with Riteish Deshmukh, Genelia Deshmukh, Anupam Kher and wife Neetu Kapoor. Rishi shared a cryptic caption thanking the Deshmukhs and Anupam Kher for spending the evening with him.

While Rishi shared the picture on Twitter, his wife Neetu Kapoor posted it on her Instagram account with the caption stating they are now counting days to return to their homeland, India.

Earlier in an interview, Rishi Kapoor stated that if all went well, he is expected to return to India by August end. In the same interview when he was asked about a hoard of celebs visiting him, he stated that he sometimes feel it's his goodwill and went on to reveal that Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan visited him twice. He also revealed that apart from a string of actors, people from other walks of life too dropped by to ask about his well being.

Unfortunately, two days after he left for New York for his treatment, his mother Krishna Raj Kapoor went to heaven. He couldn't make it to the funeral. He, while talking about it said that it was very unfortunate. He left for the US on 29th September, and his mother left the world on 1st October. She knew that he had contracted a serious disorder. That entire period was traumatic for him. He was caught up with his problem. He didn’t know what to do, and he didn’t have an option because he had to be in New York. His brother told him that by the time he would get back, it would be too late. Also, he didn’t have the stamina or strength to come back to India.
