All eyes got stuck on the new lovebirds of B-town Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, and ever since Ranbir made his direct confession of their affair. Recently, the duo have been spotted several times by paparazzi, sometimes on a dinner date, and other times on family dinners.
Alia and Ranbir are coming together in a film titled ‘Brahmastra. We have also witnessed the bonding of Ranbir Kapoor's mother Neetu Kapoor's bonding with Alia. Now, Ranbir Kapoor's father aka veteran actor Rishi Kapoor has something to say about her.
Recently in an interview, Rishi was talking with the leading daily and said,“I admire someone like Alia Bhatt, who takes up challenging roles like in ‘Highway‘ and ‘Raazi’. It’s very difficult at this tender age to carry a film on their shoulders and only an actor can do that. Also, one has to be lucky enough to get such parts. Alia has been lucky and of course, she has the talent too.”
It seems Alia's performance in Raazi spelled magic on him. And, as we know Ranbir Kapoor has the similar opinion for her. In a recent interview with Anupama Chopra, Ranbir said, “Falling in love is the greatest thing and greatest feeling in the world. When you fall in love, everything is great. Water tastes like sherbet. You feel great. And who doesn’t want to be in love?”
When asked about playing challenging roles,he said: "I enjoyed the work that I did in the ’70s and ’80s, but the work that I am doing now is more enjoyable for me. Writers writing great roles for me, and directors offering me those parts was unfortunately not the case when I was younger. Perhaps it was my demeanour and my image that didn’t allow me to play other characters. Filmmakers only thought of me when they wanted someone for romantic roles or to dance around trees."
On the professional front, Rishi was last seen in 102 Not Out, also starring Amitabh Bachchan.
