Neetu Kapoor took a trip down memory road and shared a tape of the first time she ever danced with her spouse, the late Rishi Kapoor. She took to Instagram to post the song Shaam Suhani Aayi from their 1975 film Zinda Dil. A young and elegant Neetu can be seen dancing with Rishi Kapoor as part of the song.
The movie was released in 1975 and featured Rajesh Leher, Zaheera, Pran and Raj Mehra apart from Neetu and Rishi. Sikandar Khanna directed the film. Thinking of Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor posted the song on Instagram and captioned it, “Our first dance.” Reacting to Neetu’s post, Alia Bhatt's mother, actress Soni Razdan, wrote, “Lovely.” Shaheen Bhatt and Farah Khan Ali also reacted to the post.
Neetu Kapoor recently shared a photo from a family lunch. In the pic, Randhir Kapoor, his wife Babita, Karisma Kapoor, Nitasha Nanda and Rima Jain could be seen. The Kapoor clan was seen posing for the perfect family photo.
“An afternoon with Family who are more friends,” wrote Neetu Kapoor along with the photo.
Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh started dating in 1975. They tied the knot five years later, on January 22, 1980. The couple welcomed their first kid, daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni the same year. Their son, actor Ranbir Kapoor, arrived in their lives two years later on September 28, 1982. The two featured in many films together including Dhan Daulat, Anjane Mein, Doosara Aadmi, Amar Akbar and Anthony, Rafoo Chakkar and Do Dooni Chaar.
When Rishi Kapoor passed away, it was quite a shock to his family and fans but the way Neetu Kapoor remembers him, his fans also remember him that way. Meanwhile, Neetu is set to return to acting after several years with Raj Mehta’s comedy Jug Jugg Jeeyo, which also stars Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani. Before leaving for the film location in Chandigarh, she recalled Rishi, and said that Ranbir and Riddhima motivated her to do the movie.
