Deepika Padukone is surely the number one actress in Bollywood and also the highest paid actress. With films like Yeh Jawaani Hein Deewani, Bajirao Mastani, Chennai Express and her latest film Padmaavat, she has proved that she is called the Queen of Box Office and the Queen Of Bollywood for all the right reasons.
Ranveer Singh has also proved himself in the industry as one of the most bankable young actors with films like Ramleela, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat.
The news of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone soon getting married are doing rounds on the Internet.
According to a report in SpotboyE, a source close to Ranveer, the groom-to-be, has revealed that one of Sindhi community's most unconventional wedding custom, known as Saanth, will also take place ahead of the wedding. During Saanth, which takes on the morning of the wedding day or a day before, close friends and family members of the groom first oil his hair and then he is made to wear one shoe in his right foot (from his pair of shoes to be worn at the wedding). He is then expected to break an earthen pot with his right foot amid huge cheers and claps. Post this, his close friends and family members are expected to rip off his clothes as part of the custom.
The guest list is constrained only to 30 people, who aren't allowed to carry their cell phones at the venue. Besides that, few reports also suggest that the duo will have a Sindhi wedding and a puja will take place at Deepika's house in Bengaluru, ten days prior to their special day.
On the work front, while Deepika last graced the big screen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmaavat, alongside Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor, Ranveer is currently busy with the shoot of Rohit Shetty's Simmba alongside Sara Ali Khan. He will also be seen in Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy co-starring Alia Bhatt.
