Ranveer Singh To Star In Musical Love Story By Maneesh Sharma In 2019

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are one of the most loved and talked about couple in the country. Every picture of them together trends on the internet. The news of them getting married is also doing rounds on the internet.

Ranveer is currently enjoying the success of Padmaavat which also starred Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor.

Ranveer may also be seen in a musical drama which is a love story, courtesy of his Bollywood debut movie, Band Baaja Baaraat and Ladies vs Ricky Bahl director Maneesh Sharma, according to a leading daily.

A source revealed to a leading daily, "This is Ranveer and Maneesh's third film together, after Band Baaja Baaraat and Ladies vs Ricky Bahl. It's a love story, but also a musical drama. The music will play a pivotal part in the narrative like it does in Hollywood musicals such as La La Land." The movie is expected to go on floors in June 2019.

The actor is currently shooting for Simmba in Hyderabad. The movie, which is being helmed by Rohit Shetty also stars Sara Ali Khan opposite Ranveer and will see the actor as the young, tough cop. Simmba is slated to release on December 28, 2018. The first pictures of Ranveer from the film have impressed audience.

Ranveer has already wrapped shooting for Gully Boy, which is directed by Zoya Akhtar and marks the first onscreen collaboration between Ranveer and Alia Bhatt. Gully Boy will see Ranveer play the role of a street rapper and is slated to release on February 14, 2019.

Ranveer will soon start the shooting for '83' which is about the prestigious 1983 cricket World Cup victory for India. Ranveer will be playing the role of Kapil Dev in this Kabir Khan directorial. '83 is slated to release on August 30, 2019.
